The S/S 2015 Milan flew me to a Spanish fantasy. With the flamenco beat and the bull fighting fiesta, it was a well-orchestrated and theatrical performance delivered by what I call the modern Spanish Goddesses of beauty. They were packed with strength, passion and resilience.

Dolce & Gabanna never fails to deliver femininity, elegance and sexiness in their ensembles. The silhouettes consisted of feminine fits in either sheer reveals or body hugging outfits. The hair was neatly swept back in a simple bun to add to the regality. I loved the toreador’s costume influence on the garments. Well-tailored tight bolero jackets with hot pants in shades of red, white and black were a big YES on the runway.

Great attention to detail in terms of the embellishments were also a stunner. Red never felt as sexy as the models rocked them in floral prints of roses and carnations. The frilly dancer shawls made me want to tap to the Latino beat. It added to a whole new playful vibe altogether! The frilly flamenco dresses with polka dots further added the zing to the Spanish flavors.

The spirits of the models were as strong as the matador. During the finale when all the models raced the runway in similar get ups, they stood as symbols of the modern woman who is brave and fearless, she can take the bull by the horns.

Here are some of the hottest looks of the season
